The DPT Class of 2016 held their White Coat and Pinning Ceremony on October 21, 2015. This marked their transition from the classroom to their first full-time clinical experience.


Congratulations to DPT Class of 2016 student Kiersten Garrand and DPT Class of 2017 student Liliana Jimenez!

Kiersten Garrand and Lily Jimenez presented their research poster entitled “Evidence for Disability Competence Relevant to Physical Therapy” at the Texas Physical Therapy Association Annual Conference in Arlington, Texas on October 23, 2015, and at the Global Health Reception (at the American Physical Therapy Association’s Combined Sections Meeting in Anaheim, California) on February 19, 2016. Additionally they completed a platform presentation at the International Sun Conference on Teaching and Learning in El Paso, Texas on March 17, 2016.
