1. First go to C:\EPA\Data ( use the Windows Explorer)
2. Delete all the 3 letter folders
3. Now go to start button at the bottom .. go to RUN and type telnet
4. Once the Telnet window comes on, connect to Wiley Borderbase
or the IP address , i.e, 129.108.3.111
5. The login: bob and the password: aloha ..
6. Once connected, the cursor will show unix prompt #
7. To go to the downloads directory of epcch, nmed, tnrcc
At the prompt type cd users/epcch/download – to view the downloads
For each of the directories, next Type ll to view the list of the
files
Similarly type cd users/ nmed/ download
cd users/
tnrcc/ download
8. Type prepall at the # prompt.
9. This creates an alltoday.dat file in the directory: users/ftp/pub/ozone/today,
which contains all the downloaded data.
10. Now click on FTP icon and enter the same login and password
as before
11. ftp the alltoday.dat file to c:/epa/today
12. Next go to c:\epa\filters and run qc.bat and epafilter.bat
13. Set the system date to July with current date (i.e, if
date today is 09/09/98 set the date to 07/09/98) by clicking on the time
at the bottom right hand corner.
14. Now click on the O3Vis Icon.
The following procedure is to be followed to generate the tiff images
for the map.
1. Once the O3 Vis software opens up, the following adjustments
are to be

In the O3 Vis window,
a. click on Image on the Menu List
b. click on the Regridding parameter and set Number Neighbor – 20
c. now click on Image again and then click on Color Scheme and set
opacity to 6.0
d. set the date to 7/31/98
e. set the hour to 7
f. set the no. of frames to 42.
2. In the Render window, set the image/view to sorted and blended.
3. Hit the reset button and then the start button (On the O3 Vis
window) to generate the images
