The Center for Free Enterprise (C4FE) is an educational and research center housed in The University of Texas (UTEP) Woody L. Hunt College of Business. The Center was established in 2023 and advances research and education on the economic and social benefits of a free enterprise market environment.
The mission of the Center for Free Enterprise is to provide a transformative experience in educating students on the role of a free enterprise system in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship that addresses economic disparities and social mobility. The Center will also conduct research on free enterprise and entrepreneurship that is not only pertinent to the Paso del Norte region, but also contributes to the intellectual discourse at the national level.
