SDS Database

The Environmental Health and Safety Department (EH&S) at The University of Texas at El Paso together with CampusOptics, want to introduce and provide a cloud-based Safety Data Sheet (SDS) database to all UTEP students, faculty, and staff. CampusOptics will now facilitate access to millions of SDSs and search for specific chemical safety information in a variety of regulatory formats online.

Safety Data Sheets (SDS) (formerly known as MSDS provide key information about a specific chemical, its potential hazards and how to work with the material in a safe way. With this partnership SDSs will now be available through the EH&S website for all UTEP's personnel. This new resource will give you the opportunity to filter results and identify the specific SDS documents you need to ensure your protection and that of your colleagues in the workplace.

Browse the library of SDS resources by searching via the SDS Database link or at the UTEP EH&S website. CampusOptics is also now accessible via your My.UTEP Dashboard.
