Katherine L. Squires, J.D., LL.M.- Chief Learning Officer and President, CLE Division, WebCE.com.

      Ms. Squires received her B.A. in 1980 from Clark University, her J.D. from the University of Dayton Law School in 1982 and her LL.M in Taxation from Georgetown University Law School in 1983. She has practiced law with national law firms since 1983, ran for the United States Senate in California in 1994 and was appointed by Governor Wilson as a Commissioner to the WCAB from 1994 to 1996.

     Ms. Squires has been an adjunct faculty member in the law and business/ schools of many universities including Pepperdine University, USC and the University of California, Irvine. Ms. Squires has not only over 17 years of law firm experience but in 1989 founded two corporations, LawPrep, Inc. and LawPrep Press, Inc. The primary focus of these entities was to develop and design law-related curricula that was marketed on a joint venture basis through major universities around the United States and individually to lawyers and paralegals to deliver legal education products and services. From 1989 to 1996 Ms. Squires authored over six books and videos and in 1996 sold the company to a publicly-held company, joined them as a consultant and designed and developed multimedia, interactive CD-ROMs. Ms. Squires was directly responsible for the selection and production of all content, managing the technical staff and marketing the products. She was formerly President/COO of Legal EdNet.com and Manager, Firmwide Practice Section Development, Training and Forms for Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld, L.L.P.
