Dr. Lieb currently is the Associate Curator of the LEB Herpetology collections, a Professor and member of the Graduate Faculty of UTEP's Department of Biological Sciences, and outgoing Chair of the Faculty Senate. He holds B.S. and M.S degrees in Wildlife Science from Texas A&M University and a Ph.D. degree in Biology from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Dr. Lieb's area of expertise is herpetology, and his research interests lie in systematics, evolutionary genetics, and conservation biology of amphibians and reptiles.
