Dr. Danielle Xiaodan Morales
My research agenda is driven by a theoretical understanding of how social inequality factors (e.g., age, gender, race, sexuality, social class) influence people's health and well-being, and the application of such knowledge to promote changes at community and societal levels. I use quantitative and qualitative research methods to study three areas of focus: child health, segregation and environmental justice, and the sociology of education.
