Union Building East parking lot UN-4 will be closed beginning June 12 to allow utility work for a new gas line feeding the Education Building.

From June 12 to July 12, parking lot UN-4 (on the east side of Union Building East) will be closed off between University Avenue and the entrance to parking lot KE-1, behind the Education Building. No vehicle access or parking will be permitted in this area during the closure.

Deliveries to the Union and access to the Psychology Building, Education Building, Graham Hall and Vowell Hall will be through the Randolph Drive (Cardiac Hill) gate next to Kidd Field. Permit holders will access this gate with their Miner Gold Card (MGC).  All others needing access to this gate will need to contact Parking and Transportation Services.

Sidewalks and pedestrian pathways will remain open, as well as emergency vehicle access.

The gas line installation is a two-phase project. Phase 2 details will be provided soon.

For Randolph Drive (Cardiac Hill) gate access or ADA-related parking accommodations in the area, please contact Parking and Transportation Services at 915-747-5724 or parking@utep.edu.
