The event celebrates the publication of “Borderlands Biography: Z. Anthony Kruszewski in Wartime Europe and Postwar America,” a nonfiction account of the life of Kruszewski, Ph.D., professor of political science. The book focuses on the educator’s extraordinary life from his harrowing exploits as a Polish resistance fighter during World War II to his 50 years as an internationally known, award-winning educator at UTEP.

Charles Boehmer, Ph.D., professor of political science at UTEP, will moderate the conversation with Kruszewski and the book’s author, Beata Halicka, Ph.D., professor of contemporary history at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, Poland. She also was a visiting professor at UTEP in 2016.
