The University of Texas at El Paso will host an in-person and virtual job fair on Thursday and Friday this week.

The University Career Center is inviting current UTEP students, recent graduates, or alumni looking for a job or a career change to the in-person session on Thursday at the Don Haskins Center or a virtual session via Job Mine - utep.edu/careers - on Friday.

Representatives from more than 100 organizations (private, nonprofit, federal, state, and local) will be available to meet in-person or virtually with job seekers regarding full or part-time employment and internship opportunities.

Participating organizations represent a wide range of fields. Review a list of participating employers here.

“UTEP is a source of talented, diverse and highly-sought after talent for employers,” said Betsy Castro-Duarte, the Career Center director. “Given the challenges that we have faced in the past year, we are looking forward to hosting the hybrid job fair.”

Attendees should review the list of participating employers in advance, come dressed in business professional attire, and bring extra copies of their résumé.

For those participating in the virtual fair, appointments need to be scheduled in advance of the job fair date. UTEP students and alumni can have their resume reviewed at the University Career Center prior to the fair.

“The Career EXPO is a great opportunity for students to connect their interests and career aspirations to internships and professional employment,” Castro-Duarte said.

For more information, contact the University Career Center office at 915-747-5640.

Attendees can find a list of employers who will attend the fair through the career center’s website, utep.edu/careers.
