UTEP Renews Scholarships Agreement with State of Chihuahua

UTEP President Heather Wilson and María Eugenia Campos Galván, governor of the State of Chihuahua, signed a memorandum of understanding renewing an agreement that provides scholarships for some of the northern Mexican state’s top students to attend UTEP.

UTEP names leadership for Natalicio Institute for Hispanic Student Success

The Diana Natalicio Institute for Hispanic Student Success has named Anne-Marie Núñez, Ph.D., as its new executive director and Jacob Fraire as the institute’s director of policy and strategy. The institute will honor President Emerita Diana Natalicio's legacy of promoting student achievement.

UTEP, El Paso Opera Performers Generate ‘Curbside’ Appeal

A trio of singers from Opera UTEP plan to sharpen their vocal technique and learn production values during their summer “research” with El Paso Opera. You can see them perform at El Paso Opera’s #CurbsideOpera stops around the community throughout the summer.

Theatre and Dance Performance at Dolores Huerta Exhibit

1-4 p.m. June 25 | El Paso Museum of History

UTEP’s Theatre and Dance students will help wrap up the Smithsonian Institute Traveling Exhibition titled “Dolores Huerta: Revolution in the Fields/Revolución en los Campos.” Their celebratory performance will help convey the labor and civil rights activist’s life through re-enactments of some of her iconic speeches.

Speech, Language and Hearing Clinic Summer Group Therapy Sessions
