UTEP and EPCC Work to Support Transfer Students

Job Expo

UTEP and El Paso Community College took a significant step forward in their ongoing efforts to ease the transition of transfer students by hosting the UTEP Transfer Fair, one of several new initiatives to improve processes for students transferring from EPCC to UTEP.

Free COVID Tests Now Available at Kiosk

The City of El Paso is offering free COVID-19 PCR testing through a kiosk located on UTEP property at 3333 N. Mesa St. at Kern Drive. The kiosk has replaced the site’s drive-through testing option and expanded COVID-19 testing access to members of the UTEP and El Paso communities.

Alternative Routes During Schuster Avenue Reconstruction

During the City of El Paso’s Schuster Avenue Reconstruction project that began this month, drivers may experience delays due to lane reductions on portions of the street. UTEP students, employees and visitors may consider using an alternative route.

Mariachi Los Mineros - Dia De Los Muertos Concert

These free performances are part of a collaborative project between UTEP’s Center for Environmental Resource Management and the Rubin Center for the Visual Arts. Both shows will have complimentary transportation from the UTEP campus and back.
