UTEP Breaks Ground on Advanced Manufacturing and Aerospace Center

Celebrate the New School Year at Minerpalooza

UTEP broke ground Aug. 30 on the Advanced Manufacturing and Aerospace Center — an $80 million building that will provide cutting edge research and educational space for UTEP's College of Engineering. The center will initially house the W.M. Keck Center for 3D Innovation and the Aerospace Center.

UTEP Recognizes $1M Gift from WestStar Bank

UTEP has renamed two areas in the College of Business Administration (COBA) in recognition of a $1 million gift from WestStar Bank: the lobby of the Business Administration Building and the office that houses the college's student success center.

El Paso, UTEP Compete with Over 500 Cities and Win $40 Million Grant

A coalition led by UTEP and the City of El Paso has been awarded $40 million to develop the region's advanced manufacturing infrastructure that will support the aerospace and defense industries. The award is part of the U.S. Economic Development Administration's $1 Billion Build Back Better Regional Challenge.
