UTEP Launches New Ph.D. in Sociology

Job Expo

Beginning in Fall 2023, UTEP will offer a Ph.D. in Sociology. The new program, which will focus on further understanding of the U.S.-Mexico border and its culture, is the University’s 25th doctoral degree program.

Show Off Artistic Skills at Chalk the Plaza

Miner Welcome events continue at 4 p.m. Monday, Jan. 23 at Chalk the Plaza in the Union Plaza. Express yourself through doodles, artwork, or poetry to celebrate the beginning of a new semester. Chalk and free popcorn will be provided.

Fortune Feimster is bringing her "Live Laugh Love!” tour to the Don Haskins Center. The comedian has appeared in shows including "The Mindy Project" and “Kenan,” as well as movies such as “Yes Day” and “Office Christmas Party.”
