UTEP Receives $1M NIH Grant for Pancreatic Cancer Research

UTEP Health Prepares Region’s Caregivers

A new grant from the National Institutes of Health’s National Cancer Institute will fund research on pancreatic cancer risk factors. “This support will allow us to promote the next generation of investigators and leaders in cancer research,” said Weiqin Lu, Ph.D., a professor in the School of Pharmacy and the project’s principal investigator.

The UTEP community now has additional options for COVID testing. The TestandGo Fully Automated Healthcare Kiosk at the UTEP Testing Site at 3333 N. Mesa now offers antigen tests along with PCR tests.
