This Self-Driving Boat Maps Underwater Terrain

Catie McCorry-Andalis and Amanda Vasquez-Vicario Appointed VPs for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management

UTEP researchers have constructed a self-driving boat that can survey the depth and terrain of large bodies of water. They hope it can help simplify the survey process of oceans, rivers and lakes, as well as assist with reconnaissance missions.
