UTEP Announces Digital Engineering Facility at NASA Johnson Space Center

UTEP will now have a home at the Johnson Space Center in Houston, thanks to a new agreement with NASA. At a joint ribbon-cutting event June 1 in both Houston and El Paso, UTEP and NASA formally announced the operation of a Digital Engineering Design Center — run by UTEP — at the Johnson Space Center.

‘Matilda’ Dinner Theatre Tickets on Sale

As part of its 40th anniversary, the UTEP Dinner Theatre brings the acclaimed Broadway and West End hit “Matilda.” This musical, based on the classic book by Roald Dahl, is packed with catchy tunes the entire family will enjoy. Performances start July 7, but tickets go on sale June 5 to UTEP students, faculty and staff, and June 6 to the general public.

Learn About New Microsoft Teams Call System

Information Resources will be migrating all University faculty and staff from the Avaya and Cisco telephone systems to Microsoft Teams beginning June 13. The Microsoft Teams platform is already in widespread use across UTEP and this change will integrate telephone functionality with Teams and support both internal and external calls.

Golfers, be part of this event that’s all fore education! The annual UTEP Alumni Association Golf Tournament is Aug. 18, 2023 at Coronado Country Club. Proceeds will support the UTEP Alumni Association Endowed Scholarship Fund.
