El Paso Pro Musica Presents Grammy Award-Winning Attacca Quartet

7:30 p.m. March 11 | Fox Fine Arts Recital Hall

The acclaimed string quartet will perform part of their versatile repertoire in Fox Fine Arts Recital Hall. Tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for seniors and military, and $5 for students.

Experience an Array of Styles at Steel Band Concert

UTEP’s 10-piece “Pantastics” steel band will perform diverse music styles with pan drums, including folkloric Afro-Cuban and Brazilian rhythms. UTEP students, faculty and staff get in free. Tickets are $5 for non-UTEP students and military and $8 for adults.

Join the Fun at UTEP’s Longest-Running Tradition

Students of all majors are invited to join the fun at TCM Day, Friday, March 10, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Students participate in a series of team-building exercises that pay homage to UTEP’s history in mining and engineering and demonstrate school spirit and Miner pride.

Alcohol Awareness Week Events Planned to Inform on Safe, Healthy Choices

Leading up to spring break, the Dean of Students Office is planning events including a resource fair with a “drunk goggles” obstacle course, alcohol use screenings and more activities around campus that promote responsible and healthy choices.

Junior Named C-USA Female Track Performer of the Meet

Niesha Burgher was named the 2023 Female Indoor Track Performer of the Meet last week after her successful run at the C-USA Indoor Track and Field Championships. Burgher capped her first indoor season with the Miners by taking home three medals.
