Record Number of Students, Alumni Earn Fulbright Awards

Five students and alumni have been selected for the prestigious Fulbright U.S. Student Program – the largest number of UTEP Fulbright Award recipients ever in a single year. Awardees will have the opportunity to research, study and teach in Brazil, Romania, Lithuania and Ireland.

Numerous Grants to Support NASA Space Research

El Paso Winds Closes Out Season

Visit the Lhakhang, the Cultural Jewel from Bhutan

11 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday, May 10 | Lhakhang Cultural Exhibit, Centennial Plaza

The Centennial Museum invites students, faculty, staff and the general public to visit the Lhakhang, located at the heart of campus in Centennial Plaza. This cultural center, which is a symbol of UTEP’s connection to the Kingdom of Bhutan, is open every Wednesday and the first Saturday of the month.

Nominate Outstanding Faculty, Staff for President's Meritorious Service Awards

Nominations are open for the 2022-23 President’s Meritorious Service Awards. These awards recognize outstanding achievement by staff and faculty members in the pursuit of UTEP’s mission and in service to students, colleagues and other University stakeholders.

Hawthorne Street Closure to Impact Traffic

Beginning May 13, a portion of Hawthorne Street in front of the Chemistry and Computer Science Building and the Engineering and Sciences Complex will be closed in order to allow utility work for UTEP's Advanced Manufacturing and Aerospace Center.
