UTEP Breaks Ground on Texas Western Hall, New $110M Learning Complex

Little Amal Makes Stop at UTEP

This 12-foot-tall puppet is traveling 1,200 miles along the U.S.-Mexico border, visiting communities and migrant families on both sides of the border from Oct. 24 – Nov. 7. She’ll start on University Avenue near the Interdisciplinary Research Building, then walk across campus, joined by students, faculty and staff, to Centennial Plaza.

Clean Out Medicine Cabinet at Take-Back Event

The UTEP Police Department, in collaboration with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), will host a National Prescription Take Back Event to safely dispose of unused medications. They will collect tablets, capsules, patches and other solid forms of prescription drugs. Stop by 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28 at the Campbell Building, located 1101 N. Campbell.
