UTEP Named 6th in World for Real Estate Research |

UTEP tied for sixth out of 528 institutions in real estate research, an increase from 14th place in 2021. Zifeng Feng, Ph.D., assistant professor in the Department of Economics and Finance, tied for fourth worldwide out of 1,037 individual researchers for his contributions to the field. |

Research to Support Lithium Extraction TechnologyA group of researchers are behind an emerging lithium extraction technology that won the inaugural Hill Prize from the Texas Academies of Medicine, Engineering, Science and Technology last week. The $500,000 prize funds will support a joint research effort with Alma Energy to extract lithium from hydrothermal waters. | |||
