Welcome to UTEP’s Ph.D. program in physics. Our students become experts in quantum science and computing, working across a variety of industries and scientific disciplines. Quantum computing’s impact will span health care and national security issues, among others, and graduates of UTEP’s physics doctoral program will be at the forefront of these issues, providing innovative solutions.
