Wuon-Gean Ho

Wuon-Gean Ho graduated with a BA in History of Art and professional license as a Veterinary surgeon from Cambridge University before taking up a Japanese Government Scholarship in 1998 to study woodblock printmaking in Japan. She later graduated with distinction in 2016 from Printmaking (MA) at the Royal College of Art, and then was etching fellow at the Royal Academy Schools in London for two years. From 2019–2023 Wuon-Gean created and was the inaugural editor of the IMPACT Printmaking Journal, an academic, peer-reviewed journal published by the Centre for Print Research, UWE Bristol. Currently she is pursuing a part-time PhD in tacit knowledge in relief printmaking processes. 

Wuon-Gean Ho se licenció en Historia del Arte y obtuvo su licencia profesional como veterinaria en la Cambridge University antes de aceptar una beca del Gobierno japonés en 1998 para estudiar grabado en madera en Japón. Más tarde se graduó con honores en 2016 en Grabado (máster) en el Royal College of Art, y luego fue becaria de grabado en la Royal Academy Schools de Londres durante dos años. De 2019 a 2023, Wuon-Gean creó y fue la editora inaugural de IMPACT Printmaking Journal, una revista académica revisada por pares publicada por el Centre for Print Research, UWE Bristol. Actualmente está realizando un doctorado a tiempo parcial sobre el conocimiento tácito en los procesos de grabado en relieve.
