Part of Saturday will be an elaboration of Friday. There will be presentations, but the format will be more of an Open Discussion Forum. Participants are encouraged to bring data, maps, etc. Environmental and social status of specific areas is important.
Some of the questions to be considered will be:
1. Future availability of PEMEX seismic sections.
2. Availability of results from 29 drill holes.
3. Extent, understanding and meaning/interpretation of surface geological mapping in Chih and northern Mexico
4. Needs of future exploration industry in Mexico to be served by local expertise.
5. Investment from the Federal government; notice from the newspaper recently.
6. Environmental impacts from the extraction of the oil and gas from shale.
7. Challenges of the oil and gas shale in Chihuahua.
8. Implications of the volcanism in the oil and gas shale of different ages and tectonic features.
