Student Organization Events
The Terry Scholar Student Organization prides themselves in their dedication to upholding their promises to give back. The pictures below depict some of the community service events that the members participated in throughout the year. The events varied anywhere from volunteering at a local YWCA center that served as a sanctuary for women and families that were victims of domestic violence, to packing boxes of food to hand out to the community from the El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank, to building a relationship with a local nursing home and interacting with residents and visiting regularly, to helping with the restoration of a church with the use of a little paint. Community service is at the forefront of the organization as they continue to give back to a community that gave back to them.
