Edit an existing Webpage
- Open the page in Netscape Gold 3.0
- Hit Edit Button
- Save it localy when prompted
- Do chnges to the page, refer to How to Create
a webpage using Netscape Gold 3.0.
- Save
- Open FTP (any version)
- Know the name of the server, the login, the password, the name of
the file, and the location of it. You can see this on the URL address.
- Connect to the Server.
- Name the changed file exactly the same as the older one.
- Trnsfer the new file to the location of the old one on the server.
- Reload the page using the URL address in Netscape.
- If not correct... Open the file from your local drive on the Netscape
editor and go to step4.
- If the images or the links are not functional and you already checked
them again on the Netscape editor then the address might be getting changed
automatically and needs to be changed on the source code. To do this you
need to open notepad (or any other editor) and open the file from your
local drive.
