Friends of the Rio Bosque
The Friends of the Rio Bosque (bylaws) is the volunteer-support group for Rio Bosque Wetlands Park. The Friends are active in all aspects of the park, from education programs, to outreach, to ecosystem management, to faunal monitoring, to fundraising, to advocacy. The group meets the 4th Wednesday of most months from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., in Room 206 Kelly Hall, on the UTEP campus. The Annual Meeting in January is sometimes on a different day, and the combined November-December meeting is the Thursday after Thanksgiving. By fiat, the meetings last no longer than one hour. See the calendar for the date of the next meeting. For more information, contact John Sproul (915-747-8663). |
