Welcome to Museum Studies at UTEP, a program for professional practice! The UTEP Museum Studies Program is housed in the Department of Art and directs both the Minor in Museum Studies and the Certificate in Exhibition Practice.

UTEP Percussion Ensemble Wins National Title at Collegiate Competition

EL PASO, Texas (Nov. 25, 2025) – The University of Texas at El Paso Percussion Ensemble has earned national acclaim after winning the collegiate category of the Concert Chamber Percussion Ensemble Competition (CCPEC) at the 2025 Percussive Arts Society International Convention (PASIC). The victory marks a significant milestone for UTEP’s Department of Music.
