*Multiple abstracts of MARC programs have been accepted at the premier national public health conference, the American Public Health Association annual conference 2020!
The abstracts cover relevant and innovative public health topics from the use of tele-health and its impact on mental health to assessing the needs for opioid treatment and resources in rural counties surrounding El Paso.
One of the abstracts is unique in that it cuts across several of MARC's programs depicting the accomplishment of the center's main goal in addressing violence, metal health and HIV risk in our community.
Our work is possible due to our community engaged scholarship model that continues to foster high-impact community-academic partnerships.
