English ”Get to Know Your Advocate” Campus Advocacy, Resources, and Education (CARE) office seeks to empower students who have been impacted by violence* by providing Confidential/private Advocacy, resources, and supportive services. CARE works in partnership with campus departments and community agencies to develop engaging programs to educate the campus community about the role each of us play in ending interpersonal violence on our campus and community.

Sexual violence may include rape, sexual assault, sexual battery, sexual coercion, stalking, and relationship violence. Denim Day is part of National Denim Day in collaboration with UTEP departments. Hey Miners! Help show your support for prevention on campus sexual assault and violence by sharing our digital flyer on Instagram. April 25 th 2024 Take Back the Night is part of an international event that strikes at the heart of domestic, sexual, and interpersonal violence of all forms. It commemorates victims and survivors who have been impacted by some form of cruelty.
CARE asks that you set your alarm for April 25, 2024, at 8pm MST to join CARE and our collaborators in lighting a digital candle on all social media platforms in support of victims and survivors. This years’ CARE Candle is in support of our UTEP campus community victims and survivors. Please tag CARE at @utepcare.
