Blackboard Overview Video

UTEP's Learning Platform

Last updated Sep 5, 2024

Blackboard is an online space where many professors choose to post course assignments, tests, and grades. You can access your courses in Blackboard on the day classes begin. If you register after classes begin, you will see yours listed the following day. If they are not listed by that time, visit ts.utep.edu to contact Technology Support for assistance. To access your account, log into the my.utep.edu portal and click the Blackboard link.

• View and download your syllabus and assignments.
• Send messages and emails to classmates or your instructor.
• Participate in online discussion groups with classmates.
• Get course alerts and notifications with the blackboard app.
• Submit your assignments and tests online.

Many instructors are now using the new modern course look (Ultra). If the courses in these tutorials do not look familiar, switch over to the Blackboard Ultra tab.
