New Faculty Technology Orientation
Join us for a comprehensive orientation that will equip you with the knowledge of essential instructional and classroom technology resources, including software accessible to all UTEP faculty. New Laptop Setting Up for UTEP Use
We are pleased to provide new faculty with a laptop for UTEP purposes. If you have not yet received your new UTEP laptop or need help setting up the installed software/apps (such as UTEP email, cloud storage, and Wi-Fi), please schedule an appointment with us.

We have prepared your Blackboard courses in the new Ultra view, to enhance efficiency and the mobile user experience. We strongly recommend attending the Blackboard Learn Ultra live webinars. Student Engagement Tools
Faculty at UTEP have identified student engagement as a pivotal element for academic success. The following UTEP-supported engagement tools have been successful in increasing student engagement.
iClicker is a great tool for immediate assessment of students' comprehension of in-class materials.
Zoom is useful for online class meetings, student group discussions, and pooling.
Yuja can be used to embed quizzes in videos.
